Ana Rousseaud is responsible for implementing OFC’s sustainability management system in Ecuador. With a strong commitment to sustainability, she combines strategic insight with a focus on creating meaningful, long-term impact. Ana ensures that every initiative contributes to lasting environmental and socio-economic benefits for the ecosystems and communities in which OFC operates.

With over 12 years of experience leading sustainable development projects across both urban landscapes and ecologically significant areas, Ana thrives at navigating complex challenges, strengthening the ties between community development, stakeholder engagement and the protection of marine ecosystems.

Ana holds a master’s degree in urban planning and Sustainable Development with Honors in Public Policy from Paris 12 University.

Norman Wray

Engagement Manager - Ecuador

Engagement Manager - Ecuador

Norman is responsible for all activities associated with planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting of the OFC Sustainability Funding Programme in Ecuador.

Normans’ passion lies in conservation and social justice, where humans and nature thrive together. He was Conservation International’s Programme Manager for the Galapagos for a period of three years.  He has since played a prominent role as an advisor to non-for-profit organizations focused on conservation activities such as Ocean Legacy, Pew Charitable Trust, Bertarelli Foundation, and Birdlife International.

He is a former Minister President of the Governing Council of the Special Regime of Galapagos. During this role, he was instrumental in driving the “Galapagos 2030 Plan”. This Strategic Plan for Galápagos Islands seeks to promote wellbeing and provide tools to deliver positive impacts.

Norman’s educational background is in law. He holds a Juris Doctor and a Diploma in Environmental Democracy and Governance from the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

Isobel Evans

Head of Sustainability

Head of Sustainability

Isobel is responsible for identifying and delivering projects with a measurable impact on coastal and marine ecosystems and the communities whose livelihoods depend on them. She oversees OFC’s sustainability strategy end-to-end, ensuring that each investment is grounded in robust science and delivers social value creation and long-term ecological resilience.

Isobel has nearly 18 years’ experience in effectively identifying and managing environmental and social risks through the full asset life cycle from planning to execution.   She has specialised in the development and implementation of environmental and social management systems compliant with international finance standards (e.g. IFC  Performance Standards and Equator Principles). Isobel has led environmental teams on a number of major capital projects throughout her career, often located in ecologically vulnerable marine and terrestrial environments.

She holds a BSc Hons in Environmental Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Jackie Proudfoot

Jackie is responsible for overseeing OFC’s financial management, ensuring that strong governance, transparency, and financial discipline underpin all aspects of the company’s operations. She is central to maintaining the integrity of OFC’s financial frameworks to support long-term sustainable outcomes.

A Chartered Accountant of over 20 years, Jackie has served as an audit partner in Johannesburg, specialising in financial services and retirement funds.

She brings deep expertise in financial oversight, governance structures, and risk management, using her skills to support conservation  outcomes that protect shared natural assets for future generations.

Erik Wandrag

CEO & Board Member

Chief Executive Officer & OFC Board Member

Erik established Oceans Finance Company to develop innovative financing mechanisms that enable long-term investment in ocean and ecosystem protection. He leads OFC’s collaboration with public-sector partners, asset custodians and investors to design structures that generate capital for conservation while supporting inclusive economic development within the blue economy.

He brings more than two decades of experience in emerging-market infrastructure and has directed projects with an aggregate value of over US$15 billion. Erik has held senior positions at Climate Fund Managers, Power Africa, Harith General Partners and Cennergi, where he was involved in originating, structuring and deploying capital across large-scale energy and sustainability-focused investments.

In 2023, Erik led the execution of the largest debt-for-climate transaction to date, converting US$1.6 billion of Ecuadorian sovereign debt into US$656 million of conservation-linked financing for the Galápagos Islands. The transaction released significant budgetary space for the state, secured long-term funding for marine protection, and created a permanent endowment dedicated to ecosystem preservation.
